Center for Advanced Food Technology (CAFT)

The Center for Advanced Food Technology (CAFT) at Rutgers University in New Jersey, is a unique, cooperative research venture between the Food Industry, Academia, and Government.

The two state of the art CAFT facilities are located in the Cook College of Rutgers University (up) and the industrial area of Piscataway, New Jersey (left).


CAFT is an Advanced Technology Center of the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology

 

The CAFT's mission is:

To be a leader in Industry/University/Government initiatives that create and enhance application of science and technologies that address product, process, and manufacturing needs for the delivery of high quality, health promoting foods and food materials to consumers.
